The kickapoo river
Devil's Hole Ranch is located just three miles north of the Village of Ontario, where you can find a gift shop, convenience store, gas station, and several restaurants. However, Ontario is mostly known as a popular place to put in a canoe on the famous Kickapoo River. The town of Ontario offers many opportunities to canoe, kayak, or tube on the Kickapoo River.
wildcat moutain state park
Wildcat Mountain State Park is located on a steep ridge with stunning views of the Kickapoo River Valley. With 25.8 miles of trails amidst 3,603 acres, most wooded, the park is a favorite destination for hikers and horseback riders alike.
Many farms surrounding the ranch are owned by Amish settlers, many of whom offer goods for sale. From homemade jams, to immaculately-made furniture, to horse products, you are sure to find something that suits your taste. Clinic participants have especially enjoyed visiting the nearby Amish harness shop to buy leather goods or sometimes have equipment repaired.
